‼️New Equipment Alert‼️

Hi all! We have added a new piece of equipment to our office - an intraoral scanner! See below for two commonly asked questions:

Q: What does the intraoral scanner do?
A: The scanner allows us to take a 3D impression of your teeth in real time. We can use this for crowns, bridges, dentures, night guards, sleep apnea appliances and much more. No more goopy impression material! 🥳 We can also use the scans to see teeth movement, recession, tooth wear, etc., over time (by comparing your scans over a period of time)

Q: Is there a cost to do a scan?
A: For most procedures, there is no extra cost for the scan. We will also be implementing complimentary wellness scans at dental hygiene visits. If you are not due for updated x-rays, you will receive a wellness scan.

Did you know the Tooth Fairy as we know her today didn’t take flight until the early 1900s? While traditions of exchanging teeth for gifts date back centuries (think Vikings and European folklore!), the modern-day Tooth Fairy became popular in America thanks to children’s books and pop culture. ✨🧚
