🦷After a few months of praying, reflecting, and truly fighting for Jayla’s Dental Cosmetics, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to take a step back and leave the Kilburn Mills.
This wasn’t easy. This business is more than teeth whitening and tooth gems — it’s confidence and connection. It’s every laugh, every transformation, every hug after a session. It’s my heart.
But in this season of my life, I feel God gently calling me to focus on my studies — to perfect my craft not only as a business owner, but as a woman, a student, and an individual. Growth sometimes requires stillness. And obedience sometimes requires stepping back.
Today in church we talked about what it really means to be part of a Jesus community.
It’s not about being right… it’s about being righteous. It’s not about winning arguments or proving a point. It’s about reflecting Christ.
My pastor said something that stayed with me: When you come to God, you choose to lose.
Lose the pride.
Lose the ego.
Lose the need to always defend yourself.
Lose your own timeline.
And in that “loss,” you actually gain everything.
So in this season, I’m choosing to lose.
Choosing surrender over control.
Choosing righteousness over being right.
Choosing to run toward God.
This is not the end.
During this time, I will still be popping out at vendor events and parties ( I can’t stay away for too long 😉). I’ll also be working behind the scenes on a rebrand, new courses, additional services, and so much more. I truly believe what’s coming is bigger, brighter, and more aligned than ever.
This isn’t goodbye — it’s “see you later.”
