My Dear Patients and Friends,
As many of you know, I have recently taken some time to address some medical concerns, and I am recovering well. However, at the urging of my doctors, due to a chronic back condition, the time has come for me to make the difficult decision to retire from practicing dentistry. It is with a heavy heart that I deliver this news. We have gone through so much of this journey together, and it has been my honor to have been your dentist.
I would be remiss not to acknowledge how much I will miss my career. I will miss the challenge to be constantly evolving with the technological advancements in dentistry. I will miss the patients, families, and staff that made up my practice. I was fortunate to enter a profession that I loved – a love that grew out of meeting so many wonderful people with whom I could share humor, stories, friendships and life experiences. Those relationships have been a great blessing these past 21 years. I will miss that most of all.
In addition to my amazing patients, I have been privileged to work with the best dental team on the planet. They are passionate and caring people in whom I have the utmost confidence and respect. They love our patients and always take such good care of everyone. I feel comfort in leaving you in the capable hands of Dr. Andrew Johnson and the Bear Canyon Dental Team. Dr. Johnson has been seeing patients in our practice since July. For those of you who have already had the opportunity to meet and receive care from Dr. Johnson, you have seen the genuine concern he has for those he treats. It is that trait, combined with his clinical skills and experience that gives me great confidence knowing you will be well cared for.
It will be difficult for me to leave our new office and the exciting future I had envisioned as Fran and I created Bear Canyon Dental. But we look forward to watching it grow and evolve into something bigger and better as we always hoped it would.
Thank you very much to everyone who has been a part of this incredible journey. Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, and most of all your friendship. It has enhanced my life more than you will know. I will miss seeing you at the office. And so, for one last time.… keep smiling!

Bear Canyon Dental is thrilled to welcome Dr. Andrew Johnson as the newest member of our dental team!
Dr. Johnson is a Utah native and grew up in the Orem area. He did his undergraduate training at BYU where he received a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Masters degree in Fisheries biology. He attended dental school at the University of Maryland.
After graduating dental school, he practiced in Utah for 7 years before Dr. Johnson and his family decided to try something new and spent the next 5 years living and practicing in Alaska and California. In thier words, “As much as we enjoyed our time away, when an opportunity to join a practice like Bear Canyon Dental was made available we jumped at the chance to return home and be a part of such an amazing team!” And we feel just as enthusiastic about them!
Dr. Johnson, his wife Becky, and their 4 children (ages 10-20) are so happy to be back and enjoy all that Utah has to offer. When not at the office, Dr Johnson loves being active in the outdoors with his family. Their favorite activities include hiking, camping, fishing, pickleball and tennis to name a few. He is excited to get to know and serve the people of our great community.
We hope you will all join us in welcoming him to our Bear Canyon family. He is an amazing Dentist and a perfect fit personally and professionally. We can’t wait for you to meet him!

Terese is retiring!
We want to congratulate Terese on her retirement. Thursday, February 16, will be her final day. Stop by Bear Canyon Dental and wish her well.
I’m not sure how to fully express my gratitude for this amazing lady who has been the welcoming voice of my practice and has helped serve the dental needs of our community for 18 1/2 years. She has been the heart of our office and is the epitome of kindness. She has touched countless lives for good. She sincerely cares about each patient and coworker and is a big part of what makes our office feel like a family. Most importantly, she has been a true friend. We have seen her three wonderful children married and watched her welcome 10 adorable grandchildren to the Revoir family. Terese, our Bear Canyon Dental Team will miss you and forever be blessed by your influence in our lives. Thank you and best of luck on the next chapter of life!!!!
