Part 3.

Hearing someone describe their temporaries as comfortable and pain free - the day of - means a lot.

That’s the goal.

The temporary phase should give you a sense of shape and feel, even though the final porcelain will have more depth and dimension. That artistry comes later - and we appreciate Ashley noticing that part of the process.

And yes - minimal or even no prep options are possible when the case allows for it. It’s never about drilling teeth down. It’s about preserving as much natural structure as we can.

Peoples definition of beauty can be very different and it’s a fun part of the creative process to help a client achieve their own goals.

This client wanted to mimic vampire fangs. She had worn down her natural cuspids and so we saw an opportunity.

Our purpose is to achieve esthetic goals by doing as little to the natural teeth as possible.

These teeth had no decay and were healthy. We built prototype fangs to mimic the natural movement of her teeth, and be able to do it in a No Drill process, so no natural tooth was removed.

She loved it, so we scanned the prototypes, had no drill porcelain veneers made. While it may look like it may be hard to function, we worked all the movements out for them to function as natural cuspids would.

The main risk would be that they simply could pop off if under too much force.

The client understood that risk, so we proceeded to give her the smile she always wanted, the way she wanted it ⭐️
