Dr. Huang is an accomplished, experienced general dentist who was education in both dentistry and medicine. Dr. Huang was born in China, where he graduated in 1993 from West China University of Medical Science with a Bachelors Degree of Medical Science. He then continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry. He graduated from there in 1996 with a Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery and spent a year at a New York City Hospital in a general dentistry residency program. During this time, he was also a faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry and practiced full time in private practice in NJ and NY. In 1998, he moved to Nashville to open his own practice where he is still currently practicing. Dr. Huang was board certified to practice dentistry in the NE region as well as the SE region of the US. He once held license in NJ, NY, PA & MD. He is also active in organized dentistry as well as all levels of the dental organizations. He has specialized training in laser dentistry as well as all extensive training in all aspects of dentistry. He has spent over 1000 hours in continued education. In June 2007, he was awarded “Master of General Dentistry” by the academy of general dentistry. He became one of the youngest members of the academy to be awarded this title. He is also one of only 3 dentists holding mastership in the Metro Nashville area whom are still practicing. In his spare time, Dr Huang enjoys traveling, yoga and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Dr Huang is also very environmentally conscious.
