Are you brushing your teeth wrong? 🪥
A few small habits can make a big difference for your smile:
Spit, don’t rinse.
After brushing, spit out the excess toothpaste, but try not to rinse with water right away. That gives the fluoride more time to protect your enamel.
Brush before breakfast.
Brushing first thing in the morning helps remove the plaque and bacteria that build up overnight. Already ate? Wait at least 30 minutes before brushing—especially after acidic foods or drinks like citrus, juice, or coffee.
Go gentle.
Brushing harder doesn’t mean brushing better. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and light pressure to protect your gums and enamel.
Don’t skip flossing.
Brushing twice a day is important, but flossing once a day helps clean the spots your toothbrush can’t reach.
Check your technique.
Hold your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle and use gentle, tooth-by-tooth strokes.
And don’t forget your tongue!
Small changes = a healthier smile. 😁
