🚛 Update: Mettatuxet trash and recycling pickup will be done tomorrow. We understand that many roads were just plowed and want to give everyone a chance to shovel their driveways and clear a safe path for our employees.

Friday’s route will run on the regular schedule.

Attention customers:
Tomorrow morning we will be attempting to pick up any Monday or Tuesday customers that can get their trash out to the roadside or have a path shoveled. Thursday we will be doing the same for Wednesday and Thursday customers. Hopefully by Friday we will be back on some sort of a schedule. Now we know some people are still without power or haven’t even been able to get out of their driveways yet. Trash is the least of your worries. We will continue to do what we can to accommodate and catch up as the snow is cleared out.

Attention: Snow Storm Announcement 🚨

Due to the current snowstorm, road conditions remain unsafe and many roads have not yet been plowed. For everyone’s safety, the office will be closed tomorrow (2/24), and trash and recycling will not be picked up.

Please take the time to clear a safe path to your trash and recycling bins, and ensure that commercial dumpsters are accessible once service resumes.

We will provide an update tomorrow regarding which routes will be serviced on Wednesday.

Monday’s trash and recycling pickups will be postponed until Tuesday.

Please be sure to have a cleared and shoveled path to your trash and recycling bins to ensure our team can safely complete collections. Commercial customers — please make sure dumpster areas are fully cleared and accessible as well.
