Tomorrow’s event is unfortunately canceled ☔️

After carefully monitoring the forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Whitpain Community Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at Montgomery County Community College.

With strong winds expected, the safety of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, staff, and participants is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided that canceling this year’s event is the best decision.

We sincerely thank all of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and the Whitpain community for your support and understanding. We are disappointed that we won’t be able to celebrate with you this year, but we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2027 Whitpain Community Festival!

Tonight's Big Rig Roundup: Touch-A-Truck is still on! We hope you join us tonight, Friday, September 25 at Montgomery County Community College - Morris Road Lot 5:30-8PM.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of welcoming four dental students from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to my office - Eli, Ido, Sulaf , and Yulia. They are spending two weeks at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry as part of a meaningful educational exchange program, and I am proud to have sponsored their trip. This is the third year that we have hosted these exchange students from Israel, and we have made wonderful, meaningful connections with each of them.

These impressive young students reflect the wonderful diversity of Israel—two are Jewish, one is Christian, and one is Druze. One has already served in the Israeli Navy, and another will begin service in the Israel Defense Forces after graduating from dental school. Although their backgrounds and personal experiences are different, they share a commitment to dentistry, service, and improving the lives of others.

It was a pleasure introducing them to our practice, discussing orthodontics, and learning more about their lives and aspirations. Educational exchanges like this are especially important because they build lasting relationships, encourage the sharing of knowledge, and create greater understanding between people and cultures.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to support this program and spend time with these outstanding future dentists. I hope their experience in Philadelphia is educational, memorable, and the beginning of many lasting professional and personal friendships. Also worth noting, of course, is that they all ate Hymie’s lox and bagels for lunch. 🇮🇱 🦷 😬

🥪 Pack a Braces-Friendly Lunch!

Back-to-school lunches are (sadly) back! 🎒🍎 And if you have braces, choosing the right foods can help protect your brackets and keep treatment moving smoothly.

Try packing:
🥪 Soft sandwiches
🍓 Fresh berries and soft fruit
🥕 Cooked or softer veggies
🧀 Cheese and yogurt
🍌 Bananas
🥨 Soft snacks

Remember to avoid hard, sticky, or chewy foods that can damage braces.

A little planning at lunchtime = a BIG reason to smile! 😁💙 Have a great 2026-2027 school year!!
