“Systematic Approach to a Beautiful Smile”
▪️ It all start with the end result in mind. To accomplish that we listen the expectations, we observe the current situation and we make preliminary decision to start the Smile Design process;
▪️ Followed by a functional and motivational mock up where more changes can be done based on patient function and esthetics;
▪️ “Duh” an expression I utilize always to determine incisors display to determine the bare minimum increase in tooth length;
▪️To be minimally invasive , the utilization of the mock up as guide for our depth cuts prevents unnecessary tooth structure removal. The more misaligned teeth are , the more tooth preparations is needed;
▪️when thin Feldspathic veneers are chosen as final material , the natural substrate shade must be selected for the laboratory to provide us with the final tooth shade;
▪️ Then we can be sure we will get the end results we visualized at the beginning of this process, but also feel good about preserving tooth structure;
