It's Children's Dental Health Month!

Dental hygiene is important because the mouth is the gateway to the rest of your body. Gum disease can lead to further health issues such as heart disease, diabetes, and other systemic conditions.

Call us today at (630) 759-9929 or visit our website to schedule your child's cleaning!

Today, we celebrate the critical role women and girls play in driving scientific innovation and progress. At our practice, we are privileged to see this leadership firsthand through our CEO, Dr. Reem Shafi.

Dr. Shafi’s career is a masterclass in turning scientific training into community impact. After earning her dental degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 1998, she moved to Chicago and opened her first practice by 2004. Recognizing a greater need, she expanded her vision, and a decade later, she leads a family of dental practices across Chicagoland, employing over 140 team members and 30 dentists.

A Hall of Fame inductee (Temple University Fox School of Business, 2013), Dr. Shafi’s success is rooted in a steadfast commitment to ethics, excellent patient care, and making quality treatment accessible. Beyond her professional accolades, she is a dedicated wife and mother of three.

Dr. Shafi’s journey from dental graduate to celebrated CEO and community pillar powerfully illustrates how a foundation in science can build a legacy of health, opportunity, and inspiration.

Join us in celebrating all the women and girls in science who are shaping a better tomorrow.
