Meet Vintage Dental's newest provider, Dr.Nazlie Taheri! Dr.N graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2020. She is currently finishing her hospital dentistry residency at the Palo Alto VA/Stanford health care system, and serves her hometown community with her father on Saturdays. Dr.N hopes to bridge the gap between medicine and dentistry and enjoys working with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and pharmacists in order to help the medically complex patient in a holistic manner. She is a firm believer that good health starts at the mouth. We are excited for our father-daughter duo to serve the Napa Valley, from our family to yours! 🦷 Nazlie Taheri

According to the CDC, 47% of the adult American population has some form of periodontal disease AKA gum disease 😧Gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) is a precursor to periodontitis (a more advanced form of gum disease involving bone loss) and is typically caused by plaque build up. If left untreated, periodontitis can lead to tooth loss. That is why it is important to brush and floss to maintain healthy gums that support healthy teeth!
