Time for a little smile quiz! 🪥🤔

How often do you think your child should get a new toothbrush?

3 months? 6 months? Once a year?

The answer might be sooner than you think! Check out the graphic for the answer—and don’t forget to replace it sooner if the bristles become worn or frayed. 💙

While brushing twice a day is always the goal, brushing before bed is the most important brush of the day. Overnight, saliva production slows down, making it easier for plaque and cavity-causing bacteria to do their work.

Ending the day with a clean smile is one of the best habits you can build for your child. 💚

We’d love to know—did you guess morning or night before seeing the answer? 👇

The smoky skies have many of us staying indoors and thinking about our family’s health. While we often focus on protecting our lungs, it’s also a good reminder to take care of our smiles.

Smoke and dry air can contribute to a dry mouth, especially if children are breathing through their mouths more often. Saliva plays an important role in protecting teeth by washing away bacteria, so staying hydrated is especially important during days like these.

Most importantly, we hope your family is staying safe during the fires. We’re keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and look forward to seeing brighter, clearer days ahead. 💙

A healthy smile is about more than just brushing your teeth! 🦷✨

Adding your tongue to your brushing routine is a simple habit that can help keep your mouth feeling fresh and support good oral health.

It’s one small step that can make a big difference! 💙

Bad breath happens to almost every child from time to time—but it isn’t always caused by what they ate for lunch! 👃🦷

Simple habits like brushing twice a day, flossing, and gently cleaning the tongue can make a big difference. If bad breath sticks around even with good brushing habits, it’s worth bringing up at your child’s next dental visit.

We’re always happy to help answer your questions and keep growing smiles healthy! 💙

🦷 That first loose tooth is an exciting milestone—for kids and parents!

It can be tempting to give it a little extra help, but patience is usually the best approach. Letting a tooth come out naturally helps make the process easier and more comfortable.

If you’re ever unsure whether a tooth is ready, we’re always happy to answer your questions. 💙

Every smile is unique—including the natural color of our teeth. 🦷✨

Good brushing habits are important, but tooth color isn’t always the best indicator of oral health. Regular dental visits help us monitor your child’s smile and make sure everything is developing as it should.
