This transformation was done without veneers, without drilling away healthy tooth structure, and without a filling.

Using DMG Icon Infiltration, we were able to dramatically improve the appearance of this white spot lesion with a minimally invasive treatment that preserves natural enamel.

White spot lesions can develop after braces, trauma, or changes during tooth development. Until recently, the options were often to either live with them or choose more aggressive cosmetic treatment. Icon gives us another option, one that’s conservative, effective, and often completed in a single visit.

The best dentistry is the dentistry that preserves as much healthy tooth structure as possible. Cases like this are a perfect example.

A young patient walked in unexpectedly missing a front tooth… and just a few hours later, she walked out smiling again.

When she lost her tooth, we knew waiting weeks for a lab wasn’t the right answer. Instead, we digitally designed and 3D printed a custom single-wing Maryland bridge using CrownHT material, then bonded it into place the next day.

Not long ago, a case like this might have meant weeks without a front tooth, or a more aggressive treatment just to get a faster result.

Digital dentistry and 3D printing are changing what’s possible. They allow us to be faster, more conservative, and provide patients with solutions when they need them most.
