Let me elaborate. Tom will continue to do dentistry at the Muncy Prison and as some of you may know, our son Angelo has had some health issues so I will be moving to Pittsburgh with him to help him continue on his health journey. I will be teaching part-time at Pitt Dental School and will also be covering for Dr. Koch when he is on vacation so you may see me sometimes working at Tri-Town Modern Dental (that has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?). And of course Tom and I are married 😆 so we will be traveling back and forth to Pittsburgh so you’ll see us around town. And if you’re in Pittsburgh, message me, we can do lunch! We thank Muncy for all you have done for our family and it has truly been an honor to help Muncy and the surrounding areas with their oral health! You are all in good hands with Dr. Koch. He is a gifted clinician and our area is very lucky to have him take over our practice.

Dr. Rudolph Bennardi started practicing in Montgomery in 1954, opened the practice in Muncy 1956 and in 1991 Tom and I bought the practice and have enjoyed serving the community for 33 years. Dr. Rudolph and Mary Ellen’s legacy will continue in the hands of Dr. Ryan Koch at Tri-Town Modern Dental. Although the name will change, Dr. Ryan Koch has the same values.
Tom and I are forever thankful to our patients for a wonderful 33 years and to Dr. Rudolph and Mary Ellen for their hard work and dedication to this practice and community.

The CDC has not changed the protocols for heathcare facilities, thus you will see we are still implementing the same protocols that we have instituted from the beginning of the pandemic which includes that you still need to wear a mask in our facility until we treat you. Thank you for your cooperation and we pray for the health and safety of your families.

Good news patients of Dr. Bennardi and Dr. Barberio. Governor Wolf has given us the go
ahead to see non-urgent and non-emergent patients with and without aerosols as long as we follow certain protocols. Dr. Bennardi and Dr. Barberio have been tirelessly working to find the proper PPE to not only keep you safe, but their entire team safe. We purchased North 7700 respirators and paid a company from Denver, CO to fly in to fit test us and train us on proper use and disinfection techniques thus making us OSHA certified. Each of our treatment rooms have an air filtration device running with a HEPA filter and UV light that treats the air.
We also will be changing head covering, surgical gowns, and face shields after every patient.

Hello Bennardi Barberio dental patients. We miss seeing you. We hope you are all well and safe. We have been treating your emergencies the best way we have been able and we don’t want to forget about your oral health during this pandemic. Please make sure you have been brushing and flossing regularly. We will be calling you soon to reschedule those of you that we could not see over the last 2 months. If you are in need of toothpaste or know of anyone who needs toothpaste, please stop at our office. We have a box of crest toothpaste at our entrance to the office available for anyone to take to help keep their mouths healthy. Stay safe, wash your hands, and don't touch your face!!

Thank you loyal dental patients and potential new dental patients for reaching out to Doctors
Bennardi and Barberio’s dental office. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our office has
been mandated to close by Governor Wolfe and the American Dental Association. We are only
allowed to see Urgent and Emergency Dental patients at this time, meaning if you have pain
and/or swelling or potential pain and/or swelling, please call 570-546-3419. We have the ability
to check these messages from home and will do so daily. We also have the ability to use
teledentistry to diagnose, evaluate, code, and bill properly as per the American Dental
Association’s instructions and guidelines during this unique situation. When we call you back,
we will instruct you how to participate via teledentistry. Any other messages can also be left at
570-546-3419. Please be safe, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and do not touch your face.
