To whom it may concern:

Denture Dust Dental Laboratory will be closed the entire month of May. I know this will be an inconvenience, and I plan to let everyone know when I’m back up and running!

I know this is a shock to some, but I am having a kidney transplant! I have tried my best to not let my kidney disease affect my work, even while doing peritoneal dialysis the last 4 months. My husband is donating his kidney, and we are scheduled for surgery beginning of May. Thoughts and prayers are much appreciated! 😊

With that being said, from now till the end of the month, I will be working diligently to finish already started, in lab cases. If you have a same day or an immediate case that you think can be done before the end of the month, please call me so we can discuss it. I will do my best to get as much done as possible!

Thank you so much for the continued work and I hope to pick back up at the beginning of June, if not sooner.

Ever wonder where I thought of the name Denture Dust? On days like today, I’m humbled. When I’m covered in “denture dust,” wax, and look like a mess. I am so fortunate to work from home and work around my family’s busy schedules. We all have flaws/messes, and I’ll be the first to own mine 😉💖

✨So many changes can happen in one year! ✨

One year ago I started out trying to find accounts and boy, was it scary! To be honest, I had many moments where I thought, “what am I doing? This was a terrible idea.” One of my friends pulled me aside and said, “MEGAN. You have to give it at least 1️⃣ year to have an idea of what it’s going to be like!”

I am so grateful for having a strong support system of family and friends. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their push to keep going!

I am thankful for all the doctors and staff that took a chance on a new lab. Thank you for trusting my opinion and making me feel appreciated!

PSA: Denture Dust Dental Laboratory is ran by a certified dental technician, not a denturist. Meaning, I cannot work directly with a patient to fabricate a dental prosthesis. I can only work through a dentist who sends a lab script that’s approved with their signature.

Recently I have received numerous phone calls and messages directly from patients. I’m more than happy to get you in touch with a dentist in your area that already sends me work.

Side note: As a patient you have the right to know where your dental prosthetics are fabricated and you can recommend where you want them sent 😉🦷
