Interesting case!! This patient was referred to us with history of growing opacity on radiographs on the right side of his face. He had no symptoms. The panorex in the images below were taken 2 years apart. A pre operative CBCT showed a calcified/opaque lesion attached to the inferior border of the right mandible. The lesion (presumably an osteoma-final path is pending) was removed in entirety in the OR. A post op scan is also shown.

Very cool case. The patient came in with a mandible fracture that was a few weeks old and developed an infection. Note the plate on the other side and in front of the mandible from a previous fracture repair. The infected bone was thoroughly debrided, the infected teeth were removed, and a heavy plate was placed. The patient was also given antibiotic therapy. Worked with Dr. Chalak on this one!

This is a difficult time for everyone. To do our part, and try to take burden off our local hospitals and emergency rooms, we are available to see urgent cases and emergencies.

Measures we are implementing include: modifying our hours, rescheduling elective visits, screening our patients, practicing recommended sterilization protocols (as we always do), thoroughly disinfecting between patients (as we always do), and spacing out any appointments to help with social distancing.
