After 53 years of dedication, compassion, and steady leadership, Isbell Family Dentistry has the bitter-sweet honor to announce the retirement of the man who started it all, Dr. Tom Isbell.

What began as his dream in a small office grew into a practice that has cared for generations of families in our community. His hands and determination built our practice, but his heart and passion for patients and dental care is what shaped it.

His legacy is not only found in the practice he started, but also in the trust he earned, the families he served, and the example he set for his son, Dr. Stotts Isbell, and grandson, Dr. John T. Isbell, to follow. As he steps into a well-deserved retirement, we celebrate not only the career he built, but also the life he lived while building it.

Isbell Family Dentistry would like to invite Dr. Tom’s family, friends, and patients to a retirement celebration hosted at our office on May 8th from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.

Congratulations, Dr. Tom. Your legacy will always be at the heart of Isbell Family Dentistry!

Our doctors and staff loved having the opportunity to once again run our Happy Tooth program at all three of our county’s elementary schools last week! We love talking to these kids about healthy teeth. Thank you to the administrators and staff at Mountain View, Timbo, and Rural Special for the continued relationships with our office, and for letting us borrow some of your time to promote oral hygiene in our community!

To our wonderful patients and community,

It has been brought to our attention that a few negative reviews and/or comments were left on both our page and Google Review account today. These comments contain serious, slanderous, and liable accusations.

We would like to address these comments first by assuring you that neither of the commenters are, or have ever been, patients in our dental practice. They do not live in our town, our community, or even our county.

We are in contact with, and working closely with, lawyers through the American Dental Association to address this situation. We are seeking legal advice regarding these liable and defaming comments, and we will proceed as our council advises us.

In the meantime, we will continue to strive to provide our patients and community with the best dental care that we possibly can.

Our Doctors and staff were excited to spend some time at the Mountain View, Rural Special, and Timbo Elementary Schools this week as part of our Happy Tooth program! We love having the opportunity to talk to the kids in our community about oral hygiene and dental health. We are very thankful for our continued relationship with the Mountain View School District, and for the teachers and administrators that help make this program possible.
