I’ll never know what I’ve done to deserve these people. The faces you see here truly care about what they do and what they represent in our community. They care that we do a good job. It matters to them that we pay attention to details. And on top of it, they are kind and funny and just all around amazing people. I AM SO LUCKY to work alongside this smart, thoughtful, and dedicated group of people. I am grateful.

It’s a bittersweet day at RDC…

Today is Vhari’s last day. After 25 years in the field, she is retiring from dentistry.

In addition to being a spectacular hygienist, over the last two years, Vhari has been working hard on getting her masters degree and she is now moving into a career in healthcare administration.

We are so very proud of Vhari and her accomplishments and will cheer her on as she starts a new adventure!

Over the last 14 years, Vhari has been an integral, consistent, and valued part of RDC. Any of you who know her know she is kind, smart, trustworthy, compassionate, and a joy to be around.

This is tough news for us, and likely for many of you as well. Our hearts are heavy today, but we celebrate Vhari and everything she has meant to us over the years. Luckily, she has promised to return often to visit!

Please read Vhari’s message below to her patients:

To My Dear Patients,

Thank you for the trust and confidence you have placed in me to provide your dental hygiene care. As many of you are aware, I have been a practicing hygienist for twenty-five years with the past fourteen years being at Roosevelt Dental Center (RDC). I have announced my retirement from dentistry to pursue a new career. My final day at RDC is April 28.

Dentistry has been a wonderful fit for me, professionally. I am honored to have been your healthcare provider and have greatly enjoyed my time with each of you and your families. It is difficult for me to say “goodbye”, as I have become very fond of you - my patients and friends. My heart hugs each of you! I plan to continue my work in healthcare as I have accepted a role at Skagit Regional Health as a senior practice manager. Please say “hello” if you see me around town!

Our hygienists, Ramona, Kristen, and Corinne, bring many years of experience to our office and I am confident you will find them to be excellent providers. Dr. Amanda and the RDC team are amazing, and I’m grateful to have worked with them.

Thank you for being part of my dental hygiene career. I will always value our relationship and wish you the very best!​
