Did you know, you should take your child to the dentist shortly after their first teeth break through? That’s what Dr. Jonathan Hanna, a pediatric dentist at the newly opened Forest Home Clinic, recommends. Taking care of your child’s teeth is a very important part of their overall health and wellness. But don’t worry if you’ve waited a little longer. Dental care is always a good idea, even if you’ve delayed it.

Dr. Hanna is originally from the Chicago area but came to Milwaukee for college and dental school at Marquette University. He is excited to be in the new Forest Home Clinic and bring dental care closer to home. He’s also proud to work for an organization like Children’s Wisconsin that recognizes the importance of good oral health. Dr. Hanna said, “When I see a child with early childhood cavities, my greatest feeling of accomplishment is not the day we finish their treatment, but rather long in the future when both they and their siblings stay cavity free!”

In his free time, he enjoys music, soccer and cheering on Marquette basketball and the Chicago Bears.
