Your bite is commonly grouped into 3 classes based on how your upper and lower teeth and jaws line up.

Class I is a normal bite, Class II is commonly known as an overbite or overjet, and Class III is commonly known as an underbite.

When left untreated, Class II and Class III bites can both lead to uneven tooth wear, chewing problems, jaw discomfort, and extra stress on the teeth and jaw.

I first met this patient because he was bothered by a noticeable gap between his upper front teeth, mild crowding of his lower front teeth, and wanted a more confident smile.

To fix his gap and crowding, we used Invisalign to create a straighter, healthier smile. Invisalign is a great option for patients with mild orthodontic concerns who want a more discreet alternative to braces. ✅

His Invisalign treatment was completed in about 17 months with only 8 office visits. 🙌

He did a great job wearing his aligners and following care instructions. His dedication helped create a beautiful smile that will last for years with consistent retainer wear!

I first met this patient after she was referred because a baby tooth was blocking her permanent tooth from coming in the right way. She also had spaces between her upper front teeth and a bite that needed to be corrected.

Without treatment, her permanent canine would not have moved into the proper position, and the spaces and bite problems would have continued to get worse. ❌

To help her, we first had her dentist remove the baby tooth and then used braces to guide her permanent canine into the right place. We then closed the spaces, and straightened her smile. We also used bite bumpers to safely open her bite so her teeth could move without hitting each other, making it easier to correct her crossbite.

Her braces treatment lasted about 26 months with appointments only every 8 to 10 weeks!

She stayed committed throughout treatment and it's exciting to see her smile become so much more balanced and confident. 😁
