For the second year in a row, Lanie is participating in Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley’s Stars at Home: Virtual Talent Show. Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley grants on average 125 wishes a year for children with critical illnesses right here in the Hudson Valley.

We've all missed the beautiful smiles of our MKPD children and look forward to seeing you again in our office!

You are welcome to call to make an appointment, but please remember the following...we are doing our very best to reschedule all who are overdue for their check-ups. As always, we are following CDC guidelines with regards to infection control and social distancing. Therefore, visits will take longer and appointment availability will be limited to avoid too many people in the office at one time. The safety of your family and ours is extremely important to us. We ask for your patience and understanding.

The health, safety and well-being of our patients, team, friends, family and colleagues is foremost in our minds. For that reason, we are temporarily closing the office from March 17th to March 27th. At that point, we will re-evaluate this ever changing situation.

Our highest priority is your health and safety. We believe this is the most responsible decision for our community and our own extended families as well. We will still be available for emergency care. If your child has a dental emergency, please call the office for instructions on how to proceed.

The well being and safety of our patients and their families is our top priority. Please be assured that we are following all precautions suggested by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and continue to monitor new information as it becomes available.

• If you or your child is experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness (fever, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath) on the day of your appointment or have been feeling ill during the week leading up to your appointment, PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE OFFICE! Instead, please call and we will happily reschedule your appointment. If you feel that the reason for your visit demands immediate attention, please call the office or email Dr. Mao at [email protected].

• If you have traveled within the last 14 days from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19, please call to reschedule your appointment.

We will continue to follow OSHA guidelines when disinfecting our surfaces and instruments. All reusable items are sterilized in a heat autoclave. All non-sterilizable items are single-use and discarded after each patient.

We encourage all patients and families to use hand sanitizer that is readily available throughout the office. We have also included disinfectant wipes near the iPad stations for your safety.
