AAP’s schedule is based on when children’s immune systems respond best to immunizations, and when they are most vulnerable to preventable diseases.

We don't change recommendations because of political considerations, speculations, or misinformation. Right now, the evidence continues to show that these vaccines are safe, effective, and important for protecting children.

My dear Patients, Parents, Caregivers and all who have entrusted us to care for their babies, children, and even young adults,

Soon, there will be a major change to our pediatric dental and orthodontic team: Dr. Ghata Patel who has been with us this past year will be leaving the practice to pursue another professional opportunity in Baltimore. Coincidentally, Dr. Herta Granado will be pursuing another career opportunity in Columbia.

I want to thank Dr. Patel and Dr. Granado for giving our patients such excellent care, and delivering that care with kindness and expertise. Many of you have gotten to know Drs. Patel and Granado to be the best of the best! While we are very sad to see them depart, we all wish Drs. Patel and Granado the very best in this new chapter of their careers.

Dr. Allison Green has been a specialist in pediatric dentistry with MACDA for over 17 years. Dr. Stuart Sheer has been our primary orthodontist since 2003. Drs. Green and Sheer will continue your care with a long-standing record of delivering exceptional pediatric dentistry and orthodontic care.

Our office will be closed on Friday, July 3th, in observance of Independence Day, and our phones will be turned off for the holiday. We hope everyone has a fun and safe celebration with family and friends! ❤️🤍💙
