Every child’s smile develops at its own pace, but knowing what to expect can help parents keep track of their child’s dental development. From those first baby teeth to permanent molars and wisdom teeth, there are many changes along the way.

Regular dental visits allow us to monitor how teeth are developing and make sure your child’s smile is progressing as expected. If you notice something that seems different or delayed, your pediatric dentist can help determine whether it needs attention.

Teeth grinding is more common in children than many parents realize, especially during periods when their teeth and bite are changing. In many cases, childhood grinding resolves on its own as the bite develops. However, frequent or severe grinding, noticeable tooth wear, or other concerns should be evaluated by a pediatric dentist. Regular dental visits allow us to monitor your child’s teeth and development and determine if anything needs additional attention.
