Monongalia County Health Department is in the house! We'll be doing sports physicals and WIC signups until 2 p.m. today at The Pantry Plus More's Back to School Bash at the Mon County Center, Mylan Park. Velvet from MCHD Smile Express and MCHD Dentistry will be handing out dental supplies and have info and toothbrushing activities on hand.

MCHD Smile Express' Tiffany and Velvet, along with our mobile dentistry unit Smiley, attended Scouting America's Nat Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in late July. Faculty from the WVU School of Dentistry and WVU Health Sciences saw urgent cases and did exams for soldiers to be deployable. Providers saw 48 patients, including 30 urgent Scout cases.
