As a dentist, I see these 4 common mistakes disrupting healthy smiles every single day. The good news? They are super easy fixes:
🪥 Scrubbing too hard: Your teeth aren't bathroom grout. Gentle, circular motions are all you need to protect your enamel and gums.
💦 Rinsing immediately after brushing: When you rinse with water (or mouthwash) right after brushing, you wash away all that helpful fluoride. Just spit and commit!
✂️ Using teeth as tools: Tags, tape, chip bags, beer bottles... please stop. That’s how we get chipped teeth.
👅 Ignoring your tongue: Your tongue acts like a sponge for bacteria. Give it a scrape or a brush to keep your breath fresh.
