Smile Dental provides all of our patients quality dental care and exceptional customer service. We believe that each patient deserves the best oral health care available in today's dental industry.

We are looking for a Dental Assistant who will make our office more efficient and pleasant for patients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing excellent direct and indirect patient care and will fit in well with our professional, fun and hard working team.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Take excellent X-rays
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Set-up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Maintain accurate patient records

Skills

Eaglesoft
Knowledge of instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills

Thousands of dollars in PPO dental coverage go to waste on Dec 31, the final day to make use of your insurance for the year. This is because the dental insurance benefits that you pay for do not rollover onto the new year. Any remaining coverage amount resets back to the standard plan maximum.
