Dr. Kaufman was able to attend a weekend course in Charlotte, NC at one of the Dentsply/Sirona headquarters this weekend! This was a 13 hour hands on course in 3D X-ray interpretation.

The additional pictures show an interesting case from the course where a metastatic liver cancer traveled to the jaw and the patient’s dentist found the primary diagnosis for the patient. The last image outlines what the jaw would normally look like! Dentists are not just doctors of teeth. At MFD, we can now take 3D X-rays for diagnosis, implant planning, and wisdom tooth removal!
