After many wonderful years of serving this community and caring for your dental health, I have made the bittersweet decision to retire. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to be your dentist and to watch so many of you and your families grow and smile through the years.

I am pleased to introduce Dr. Kalynn Schriefer who will be taking over the practice. She is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist, and I am confident that you will be in excellent hands. The awesome staff will also be staying to assist Dr. Schriefer. My retirement will take effect on January 1st 2026.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during procedures. You will play a vital role in educating patients about oral health, performing preventive dental care, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive treatment.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Apply knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with patients and the dental team.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies.
Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and anatomy.
Experience with patient assessment techniques and familiarity with vital signs monitoring.
Proficiency in using medical imaging systems within a dental clinic setting.
Understanding of infection control practices relevant to dental hygiene.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.

Have you been putting off getting your teeth cleaned? Now, is a great time to schedule an appointment with our new hygienist Crystal.
She loves working with kids and adults. Crystal went to Parkland College for dental hygiene and has been a hygienist for 11 years. She had a daughter that's 13 and two sons ages 9 and 3. She also likes to bake, garden, travel and write.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventative dental care to patients, and educating them on proper oral hygiene techniques. The hygienist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean and sterile work environment within

Hours will be negotiable at time of interview and are subject to starting part time, with the option to become full time as soon as possible. Subbing may also be a great opportunity before the full time hours start.
