✅ Does the original tooth have good tissue?
✅ Does the original tooth have decent bone to engage the implant?
✅ Do you have the appropriate implant to avoid complications?
✅ Do you have the training and experience to do the best for the patient and to ensure an optimal outcome?

I don’t always do 2nd molar root canals that are juxtaposed to major nerves but when I’m feeling brave I take my time. The result is priceless.

“Everything feels fine doc!“
This tooth felt fine for years. The X-ray from two years ago shows a chronic infection the body has to fight on a daily basis. The patient got COVID and all of a sudden her tooth started hurting. Did COVID give her cavities? Nope but it preoccupied her immune system and was not able to fight the tooth infection any longer. Crazy stuff. Get your teeth fixed before you get sick!
One visit, one surgery, one round of antibiotics. 90 minutes for a new tooth root. Let the body do its magic for 2.5 months and let’s get a new toof!
