Go Team USA! 🇺🇸🏒

Dr. Tom Ganshert, a general dentist in Monroe, started skating on frozen ponds and wetlands in the fields.

"When Monroe, Wis. started organized hockey in 1974, I jumped at the chance to play. I played all through school including Marquette undergrad and dental school.

Later, I coached all four of my children and won three state championships in 26 years of coaching. Along the way, I helped build an indoor rink in Monroe where I served as board president and refereed for many years.

During this Olympic season, I hope people can watch hockey and be inspired by the amazing athletes that make this challenging game appear so easy. Please cheer for Team USA’s Tessa Janecke, who started her hockey career alongside my daughter and others here in Monroe." 🏒
