ULM Dental Hygiene Clinic is a learning facility that provides Dental Cleanings, Exams, X-rays, Fluoride Treatments, Whitening Services, as well as Mouth Guards for both Athletes and patients that suffer with grinding/clenching.

What are your future plans once you become an RDH?
After graduation I plan on staying in Louisiana and helping people love their smile :)

1) I am a member of the Kappa Delta chapter on campus
2) I love live music and everything about music in general
3) While at ULM I was a part of my organizations including hawk seeking and peer leading.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering dental hygiene?
My advice for someone who is considering dental hygiene is DO IT! Everything about ULM’s dental hygiene program is great. Never give up when things get hard because all of it is so worth it!

What has been your favorite part about dental hygiene school so far?
My favorite part of dental hygiene so far has been the amazing friends I have met through the program that will last me a lifetime!

Look at material ahead of time, study hard, make sure you practice instrumentation, master paperwork for patients.

What has been your favorite part about dental hygiene school so far?
Working on patients and applying what we’ve learned in lecture.

Once I graduate, I plan to move back home to Lafayette and work in a family practice!!

1. I have a bernadoodle named Ellie!
2. I’m recently engaged to my best friend and plan to get married in 2026!

What advice would you give to someone who is considering dental hygiene?
DO IT!!! One of the best pieces of advice I received was to apply to dental hygiene school, and I’m so happy I did! It isn’t easy, but it is so worth it!

What has been your favorite part about dental hygiene school so far?
My favorite part of dental hygiene school has been meeting all of my lifelong friends, learning all things TEETH🦷, and gaining relationships with patients in our clinic!

I want to serve my community of Ruston and give back to city that has given me so much.

1. I’m a mommy
2. I like to go magnet fishing
3. I love karaoke (even though I’m not a great singer).

What advice would you give to someone who is considering dental hygiene?
Try dental assisting for one year to familiarize yourself with the dental field.

What has been your favorite part about dental hygiene school so far?
The “embarrassing” moments of learning, like accidentally spraying your patient with water or walking into the X-ray arm—its good to stay humble and have a good laugh. It’s in those moments that you learn the most, and I’ve had plenty of them.
