To the patients and family members of Gray Stephens, D.D.S.,
Due to the health concerns we are facing as a nation, a state, a community and the patients within my practice, with which I hold high regard, I wish to take this opportunity to assure you that the team members of my staff and myself are taking every precaution to ensure that we continue to provide the utmost quality care when treating you and your dental needs.
In addition to our usual and customary high quality sterilization and disinfection protocol, we will be implementing other precautions in order to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff members.
All areas of our office, behind the scenes and those in which our patients come in direct contact with, will be continually disinfected with a professional grade sanitizing agent throughout the day.
We will be limiting the number of patients to be seen during the day so that we will be able to adhere to the recommendation of “social distancing”. We ask that all patients remain in your vehicle until a staff member records a temperature check and ask a few brief questions. We assure you that this wait will be very minimal in time. All patients age 6 and older will be required to wear a face mask when they are in any part of our office with the exception of the operatory room they are receiving treatment. Family and friends will not be allowed to accompany our adult patients in the reception area or in the operatory rooms. One parent/guardian will be allowed to accompany a minor patient.
Upon entering the treatment room, it is usual protocol for our patients to thoroughly rinse with an antimicrobial rinse. In addition to this, we will have our patients thoroughly wash their hands before being seated.
If you have a cough, cold, fever or any other flu like symptoms we ask that you call to cancel your appointment and allow our scheduling coordinator to reschedule you for a later date. If you should be exhibiting any of these symptoms, please notify your physician.
I ask for your continued confidence and trust in the services and care my staff and I offer, as your dental health care provider, and know that we appreciate your patience with any necessary changes we must implement at this time.
