56 Days!
On June 16th, 2026 we met for initial consultation. First prosthetic received in March. Unable to use successfully due to alignment challenges, poor socket fit, and lack of education.
July 2nd was official transition of care. Offset plate added to previous socket and standing/gait training initiated.
August 6th, 2026 socket replacement provided. Adjusted microprocessor knee settings, introduced differing modes, focused on gait training and overall proprioception.
Today, August 11th, 2026 the client was able to walk independently in and around the clinic. Swing was initiated consistently. Focused on weight shift, hip musculature activation, and timing. Client was able to attempt, with relative success, walking without assistive devices.
56 Days!
Focused, proactive rehabilitation and prosthetic care.
