Our well-established, patient-focused private dental practice is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join team. We are a busy office with two doctors and four hygienists, committed to providing exceptional care and positive experiences for every patient.

Position Overview
The Dental Insurance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both patients and providers by managing dental insurance processes efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong communication skills, organization, and a solid understanding of dental insurance benefits and claims.

Key Responsibilities
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
• Explain insurance benefits and estimated patient portions
clearly and confidently
• Handle pre-authorizations and treatment estimates
• Review treatment plans and discuss insurance coverage with
patients when Tx Coordinator is unavailable.
• Post insurance payments and manage claim discrepancies
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients as
needed
• Billing and collections
• Support front office operations and collaborate with the
clinical team
• Entering the era of AI – benefits and breakdowns
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a dental insurance
coordinator (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, CDT codes, and
EOBs
• Experience with dental practice management software
(Eaglesoft preferred)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Professional, friendly demeanor with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment

Responsibilities
*Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance
*Take and interpret digital radiographs
*Conduct periodontal charting and assessments
*Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
*Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft
*Sterilize instruments and follow all OSHA and infection control protocols
*Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team

Qualifications
Current state Dental Hygiene license
CPR certification
Strong communication and patient-care skills
