EXPANSION IS BEST DONE EARLY!!

‼️🚨⏰PSA: we now know that narrow dental arches links to a narrow airway which links to sleep apnea and tooth wear in adults.

Which is why we are so keen on intervening early. 🤩

We can prevent an entire systemic condition (aka sleep disordered breathing) by correcting orthopedic and orthodontic alignment in children around the age of 6! 🥳

Prevention is key 🔑🦷

🩸Bleeding gums is a serious condition.

🩸Bleeding means infection, infection means inflammation.

🩸When our gums are inflamed, the seal around each tooth becomes “open” and starts leaking mouth bacteria into our blood stream.

🩸That bacteria, from our mouth, IS CURRENTLY BEING FOUND in the plaque buildup in our arteries.

🩸Years of this ongoing “leaking” and bleeding gums leads to heart problems.

Bleeding gums is ⏪REVERSIBLE⏪ based on your home care!!

FLOSSING is an easy, CHEAP and effective in keeping our gums strong and healthy to PREVENT heart conditions. ❤️💪🏽

Flossing/ water flossing facts 🦷
- Mechanically disrupts bacteria
- Removes 40% of plaque that brushing MISSES!! 🪥
- Removes bacteria and inflammatory markers from entering bloodstream which lowers inflammation levels and reduce systemic risk of disease. 🦠
- Regular flossing lowers bacterial load that contributes to atherosclerosis. ❤️
- Inflammation from gums makes it harder to control diabetes and vice versa, high blood sugar levels contributes to inflamed gum tissue. 🍪🍩🍭
- Plaque leftover from not flossing has been linked to worsening cognitive function and increases risk of dementia/ Alzheimer’s. 🧠🧐
- Flossing lowers risk of respiratory infections because we are not breathing the plaque bacteria into our lungs. 🫁

🦷 Our mouth is the opening to our body. When our mouth is healthy, our body is healthier. When our mouth is bleeding and inflamed, our body is also unhealthy. Constantly swallowing plaque bacteria causes havoc all throughout our body and it is simply not good.

🦷 One simple step of flossing daily can lower risk of disease. Do your part and prevent!
