Dr. Budman grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his undergraduate education at Ithaca College, New York before going on to earn his doctor of dental medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the Univers

ity of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Dr. Budman was accepted by the USAF on a scholarship program while in dental school and served for three years as a captain. His training included an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program and certification in IV conscious sedation. Dr. Budman was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for excellence in dental service throughout his Air Force career.
