Just a little 2-veneer refresh

We added more characterization so the veneers felt less flat and more natural, brought the two front teeth out a bit more so they could be the “stars” of the smile like they should be, and brightened the shade so the surrounding teeth didn’t read as yellow.

Sometimes you don’t need a full smile makeover, just a few thoughtful changes to make everything feel more balanced, dimensional, and alive

Dentists will see the emergency tooth that fractured after the veneers were put in 😭

Managing ADHD with a dental routine that’s boring, takes two full minutes, and gives you zero reward in the moment? Your brain didn’t stand a chance. 😅

Many of my patients with ADHD find it hard to stick to a routine, so we’ve gotten creative with ways to “trick” their brains into one that actually works for them. So far, the kitchen toothbrush is the clear winner. 🪥

Swipe for 5 tips that make brushing a little easier to remember and a lot harder to skip.

I love my job, and being a business owner can be all-encompassing…but I also really love my life outside of work.

I intentionally keep my buckets full with the people and things that bring me joy. My husband and I have been together for 11 years this year, and some of our favorite things are the simplest: being outside, living close to the beach, picnics, weightlifting, running, biking, swimming, traveling, and spending time with our close friends.

Life feels really full right now, in the best way, and we’ve been soaking up this season of it 🥰

Being a dentist, business owner, and smile maker is a huge part of who I am but it’s just one part of a life I love

After years of wear and grinding, this patient was ready for a change, but he had one very specific request: he didn’t want his friends to know he had dental work done.

So our goal wasn’t to give him “perfect” teeth. It was to give him a smile that looked like it had always belonged to him.

We focused on an ultra-natural result with subtle characterization, texture, and shape appropriate for his face and age. And before committing to the final restorations, we spent 8 weeks testing his bite, speech, and esthetics in two different sets of temporaries.

By the time we moved forward with the final smile, we knew exactly what worked.

The best compliment? He was thrilled with the result—and hopefully his golf buddies are none the wiser. 😉

Plastic surgery… or veneers? 👀

Can new teeth actually make it look like you had a facelift?

When teeth have been worn and ground down over time, restoring their natural shape and height with veneers and crowns can change more than just the smile. By opening the bite back up, the muscles around the mouth and face don’t have to work as hard to smile, creating a softer, more youthful appearance.

That’s why cosmetic dentistry isn’t just about designing pretty teeth. It’s about designing teeth that complement the entire face.

And it’s exactly why our cosmetic consultations involve so many full-face photos. We’re not just looking at your teeth, we’re looking at how your whole face fits around your whole smile

Cracked teeth are the trickiest category of disease to diagnose and to treat. Symptoms can range in severity and repeatability. But a large crack can be catastrophic to a tooth! Find out what symptoms to be on the lookout for if you suspect a cracked tooth. Also dentists--what symptoms do you rely on to treat a cracked tooth? When do you treat vs "monitor"?

Cracked Tooth Symptoms: How to Tell if Your Tooth Is Cracked Most people have heard of cavities and gum disease. What many people don't realize is that there is a third category of dental disease that has nothing to do with bacteria at all: force.

Life as a business owner has been crazy lately — from unexpected leaks and forced renovations to HVAC issues, it’s definitely been a busy summer.

But through all the curveballs, I’m forever grateful for this little crazy life I’ve built and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Especially when I have such amazing people (and the best team 🤍) by my side to help me navigate it all.

A little reminder that even the stressful seasons are something to be grateful for.
