Palm Dentistry

For decades, Dr. Phyllis Schaub served as a dentist in Mission Viejo and brought high-quality dentistry to the community.

Now, she’s handing over the reins to Dr. Sienna Palmer, who actually started as a dental assistant at Palm Dentistry a decade ago before becoming a dentist herself! She’s honored to have been able to serve under Dr. Schaub and lucky to have the opportunity to serve the neighborhood herself. She’s taken ownership of the practice since 2020 and looks forward to bringing the same high standard of care the community knows and loves. After graduating from Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, she continued her education through multiple courses in the Academy of General Dentistry that work towards her fellowship. She’s also completed training in Invisalign, CAD/CAM technology and minimally invasive biomimetic dentistry. She’s currently married to her dental school sweetheart, Dr. Ogbevoen and they raise a daughter together.

Heading back to school means new gear, new routines, and a brand new sports season.
As you check off your child’s school supply list make sure a custom sports mouthguard is at the very top!

A standard helmet protects the head, but only a mouthguard protects that beautiful smile from dental emergencies. Broken teeth, lip lacerations, and root damage can happen in a split second on the field or court.

Don’t rely on generic “boil and bite” store alternatives. Our dental office works with local labs to create comfortable, custom fit mouthguards that allow athletes to breathe easily, speak clearly, and stay fully protected!

Whether you want more traditional guard with a custom color, logo, or design or an ORB sport, smart mouthguard that tracks heart rate, body movement and head impacts Glidewell works hand-in-hand with us to get you the guard you need.

Give your student athlete the confidence to play hard while keeping their smile safe. Call us today to schedule a quick scan before the first whistle blows🏈🏀⚾️

✨Before and after composite filling replacement✨

Just because of filling is still in your tooth, doesn’t mean it’s doing its job 💪🏻🦷

Over the years, everyday, chewing, grinding, and temperature changes from hot coffee or ice water cause fillings to expand, contract, and naturally wear down. When that happens, microscopic gaps can form at the edges leading to a slow leak.

These leaks are a big deal…Even if it doesn’t hurt yet those tiny gaps let saliva and bacteria slip underneath where your toothbrush can’t reach. When left unchecked this causes hidden decay to start eating away at the tooth structure from the inside out.

This is why regular exams at your dental office are so important, the doctor is able to evaluate all previous work done and see if anything needs to be replaced 🙃
