The end of an era!

For nearly 4 decades, Drs. Christine Liesen and John Pinzl have served Northern WI with quality dental care, meeting a lot of great people along the way, some patients and team members that have turned into lifelong friends. They have learned numerous lessons of life from their patients, and this will especially be missed.

Graduates of the class of 1987 from Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Pinzl did a VA hospital residency in Milwaukee and Dr. Liesen worked with another dentist in Wauwatosa, WI. In 1988, they were given an opportunity to purchase the office Dr. Liesen was working. They practiced 12 years in Wauwatosa and added another practice in Mukwonago, before moving to Mercer in 1999.
Drs. Liesen and Pinzl purchased the dental office of Dr. Patricia Buehler and added practices in Park Falls and Manitowish Waters in 2005 and 2023 respectively.

They would like to thank all their past and present patients for the opportunity to provide them the best dental care possible.

Although Drs. Liesen and Pinzl are retiring, their daughter, Dr. Lauren Kessinger will continue to provide dental care at all 3 existing offices. Joining her will be Drs. Joe and Alli Wolski. Both graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and bring over a decade of clinical experience and practice ownership in Illinois. With strong ties to the Northwoods, they are excited to make the Minocqua area their full-time home with their young family and to join Dr. Kessinger in continuing to provide exceptional dental care to the community.

The administrators, assistants, and hygienists will also remain to help with the overall transition and beginning of a new dental partnership.

Dr’s Liesen and Pinzl wish all their patients the best and thank them for their patronage. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call any of our 3 offices.
