Happy HDG Anniversary to our wonderful assistant, Nataliia!

She joined our team in 2024 after relocating to Minnesota with her family amidst challenging circumstances. Originally from Ukraine, she graduated from Kharkiv National Medical University in 2006 and spent years practicing as a dedicated general dentist, bringing an incredible depth of knowledge, experience, and passion for dentistry to our team. Nataliia is muliligual, speaking Ukranian, Russian, and English!

Nataliia is a proud mother to her 13 year old daughter, Anastasiia, and a devoted wife to her husband, Serhii. While their move was unexpected, they are embracing this new beginning by cherishing time together, rebuilding their lives, and watching their daughter grow.

Move your smile forward, literally. Adult orthodontics can yield the most impressive results.

This case completed by Dr. Akradi was tailored to the patient’s needs, midway through his treatment he was getting married so we paused his orthodontic movements and Dr. Akradi completed restorative work including a gingivectomy, crown lengthening, and a filling on a chipped tooth. In non-clinical terms: removing excess gum tissue to create an even appearance across the top teeth, seen most notably on the teeth beside the front teeth.

Being able to offer ortho, gum recontouring, and chairside a chairside filling to match the anatomy of the existing teeth is something we are so happy to share with our patients.


Front teeth were canted (tilted in) which caused them to touch directly on the lower teeth when at rest, causing the lower teeth to grind down over time.

Dr. Akradi completed the Fellowship in Modern Aligners through Ripe Global; an intensive continuing education program featuring more than 80 hours of advanced training from leading orthodontists and dentists around the world. Over this past year her commitment to continued learning has provided her with greater tools to better serve our patients with quality and effective orthodontic treatments.

In this case she camouflaged a class III bite that was off centered, into a more functional and enhanced smile. By improving the bite and the relationship between the jaws, orthodontic treatment created meaningful changes in facial appearance. As our resident dentist proving clear aligner therapy, Dr. Akradi is passionate about creating smiles that are not only beautiful, but clinically functional.
