Last night the City of Lakes Study Club took a field trip to Henry Schein Dental to learn what’s new in dentistry. We had the opportunity to hear from Lisa Mayo, RDH, BSDH, MHA. Lisa talked to us about vVARDIS. A revolutionary approach to treat early caries through guided enamel remineralization. Special thank you to our HS rep Gerry Heaslip, Henry Schein Dental for putting this program together for our group.

Dr. Wilson helped out at the sign-in table for today’s City of Lakes program, where we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Bill Robbins. He presented “A 50-Year Retrospective: My Failures and Lessons Learned.” We teamed up with True North Professional Studies and Southside Comprehensive Study Club to make this a fantastic morning of learning and collaboration.

Today, we proudly hosted our annual CE event, featuring Dr. Daniel P***a as our guest speaker. Dr. P***a, a retired oral surgeon from NYC and a full-time lecturer, has been recognized as a leader in education by *Dentistry Today* for seven consecutive years. He shared invaluable insights with some of the top dentists and dental teams in the Twin Cities, teaching us life-saving protocols for handling life-threatening emergencies in the dental office—potentially saving not only our patients' lives but our own as well.

I had the pleasure of speaking to the offices of Dr. Elias Kersten, Mark Wilson, a team of periodontists from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Metropolitan Periodontists, P.A.

I was honored to be invited to Carlsbad, California, to engage with both their clinicians and their incredible team.

It’s rare to have the opportunity to spend time with both the clinical side and the support team, and we had two spirited days of conversations, discussions, and exploration.

We focused on how to create a culture that is positive, meaningful, and effective, fostering strong relationships not only with patients but also within the team itself.
