The Pennsylvania Department of Health released new guidance this week allowing the return of both non-emergency and routine dental care. We will continue to screen all patients for COVID-19 and will continue to follow the protocols listed below:
• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask a few screening questions. You must wear a mask to enter our office and you will be asked the same screening questions again when you arrive for your appointment.
• We will provide hand sanitizer and obtain your temperature using a non-contact thermometer. Patients with >100.4-degree Fahrenheit temperature we will determine if we will be able to see you based on the Doctors determination of all questions and shared information and urgency of your care. But we may ask to reschedule non urgent care.
• You will notice our waiting rooms will not offer any magazines, children’s toys, etc. as those items are difficult to disinfect
• Appointments will be managed to allow social distancing between patients.
• Patients are welcome to social distance in the waiting room or call the office from your car and wait until a staff member greets you in the parking lot.
• Only patients receiving care will be allowed in the office, so please plan accordingly for any accompanying family members who are not scheduled for treatment the same day.
• All clinical staff members will be wearing Level 3 surgical masks, N95/KN95 mask, surgical gowns, goggles/shields, and gloves for everyone’s protection while in the treatment areas.
Our office will now begin the rigorous task of contacting patients to reschedule appointments that have been delayed since March, as well as make necessary adjustments to already scheduled appointments to accommodate for more time in between patients. Please be patient with us during this time. We will work hard to accommodate everyone as best we can.
