Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating an incredible milestone for Dr. Marshall and the lasting impact he has made on generations of patients and families in our community. Thank you to Dr. Marshall’s patients who stopped by to share memories, kind words, and well wishes during his “Permanent Vacation” celebration.

Dr. Marshall has built a practice rooted in compassion, trust, and exceptional care, and my team and I am truly honored to continue that tradition. It means so much to carry forward the relationships and values that have made this office feel like family to so many over the years.

We are pleased to share another important update as we continue to thoughtfully manage the transition following Dr. David Marshall’s retirement.

To ensure continued access to timely, high-quality care, we are welcoming associate dentists to the office. These doctorswill be available two days per week, allowing us to expand appointment availability and maintain the level of personalized care our patients expect.

This addition is part of our ongoing commitment to:

Dr. Pauline Tran was born and raised in San Jose, CA, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Toxicology from UC Davis before completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Her strong scientific foundation shapes a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to oral health.

Dr. P is committed to providing a comfortable and informative patient experience, with a strong focus on prevention, education, and personalized care. As a lifelong learner, she actively pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements, ensuring her patients receive comprehensive treatment options that balance both function and esthetics.

Outside of the office, Dr. P enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time with family and friends, cooking, refining her golf swing, and teaching her German Shepherd new tricks.

Our entire clinical team works closely together, and all treatment is delivered under the standards and philosophy you have come to trust at our office.

Whether you are due for a check-up exam, or have been postponing treatment due to scheduling constraints, our new Friday hours make it easier than ever to prioritize your dental health. These expanded hours are supported by the addition of Dr. Dorina, the newest doctor to join our team, who is now available on Fridays.

Dr. Dorina grew up in Modesto, CA and later moved to San Jose with her family. She graduated with honors from San Jose State University with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Biology, where she co-founded the Pre-Dental Society and later served as its president. During this time, her passion for dentistry and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds grew, inspiring her to write and self-publish the interactive children’s book Brush Your Teeth with Me!

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she embraced a humanistic approach to patient care.
Dr. Dorina is committed to ethical leadership, continuous learning, and treating every patient with compassion and respect. She has extensive volunteer experience: leading humanitarian efforts to provide oral hygiene supplies to underserved communities and traveling to Jamaica to deliver free dental care to over 700 patients. She is actively involved with the Santa Clara Dental Society and the California Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and participating in her Assyrian community.
