LIMITED RE-OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT AND OUR COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
To All of Our Patients,
We are happy to announce that in addition to urgent care we are now open for postponed and new routine dental treatment. We expect to start scheduling dental cleaning appointments soon as well. We appreciate your patience while we finalize protocols to safely provide care for a larger volume of patients. Please use our email [email protected] or text us at 415.381.4321 for quickest response.
Our office follows and exceeds infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We have implemented additional technology and protocols to keep our patients and our team safe :
MedifyAir medical grade HEPA H13 filtration system that removes 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 microns in treatment rooms and reception reception are.
Chairside extraoral suction units to intercept and eliminate aerosolized particles generated during dental treatment.
Low volume fogging using hypochlorous acid solution (an environmentally safe disinfectant) to treat the entire office.
Continuous disinfection of all commonly touched surfaces throughout a day.
What to expect when you arrive for your next appointment:
• All patients will be required to wear a face mask until seated in the treatment room.
• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
• In order to limit the number of patients in the reception area, we may ask you to check in via text or call us when you arrive to the parking lot and wait in your car until we ready to see you
• Your temperature will be taken upon arrival
• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
• You will be asked to rinse with 1% hydrogen peroxide prior to any procedures
• You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
• We will allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you and to allow for thorough disinfection of treatment rooms and reception area.
We would like to thank you in advance for your attention to and understanding of these measures so that we may provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our patients. We look forward to taking great care of you!
Sincerely,
Denys Kovalchuk DDS and Team
