This case is a great example of why timing matters in orthodontic treatment!
In Phase 1, we started with a fixed expander to create the space needed for the developing adult teeth and help guide their eruption into a healthier position. 🦷 This early treatment helped set our patient up for success as they continued to grow and develop.
Once all of the permanent teeth were in, we moved into Phase 2 to complete the orthodontic treatment and address everything we couldn’t fully correct during Phase 1, including improving the patient’s overbite and overjet.
The result? A healthy, confident smile that was built step-by-step! 💙

A little Class II bite called for some extra teamwork during treatment! 💪🦷
To help improve her bite and correct her mild overjet, we incorporated elastics into her treatment plan. With great compliance and dedication, she stayed on top of her elastics and helped us achieve this beautiful result! 🙌✨
It’s amazing what a little consistency can do — and we couldn’t be happier with her new smile! 💙
