Eleanor presented with very similar bite as her older brother. We had the opportunity to begin working on the overbite and flared front teeth a little earlier in phase 1. Not only will she be able enjoy and better bite and smile sooner, but according to extensive research, her risk of trauma to the front teeth if she falls is greatly reduced having the front teeth tucked back into a more ideal position.

Eddie presented with a significant overjet, with his upper front teeth flared noticeably outward—one of the more severe cases we’ve seen. Incredibly, he achieved full correction in just 11 months using Invisalign!
As an orthodontic specialist, I’m able to use digital tools to plan precise, efficient tooth movements tailored to each individual case—something that goes far beyond simply wearing aligners.
However, Eddie’s commitment to wearing his aligners exactly as prescribed played a huge role in the success of his treatment, and together we were able to treat his complex cases in record time.
Major credit to Eddie for his dedication—and a great reminder that when advanced treatment planning meets full patient compliance, the results can be truly transformative.

Another example of a severe overjet, sometimes called an "overbite." With bites, this severe, there are a few options which include jaw surgery or a Herbst appliance - look it up. Instead, we chose Invisalign in combination with a smaller more discreet and comfortable appliance. Another example of what a great treatment plan and design along with dedicated patient compliance can accomplish in just 16 months. Way to go Ritvik!
