This month, we’re shining the spotlight on one of the familiar faces behind so many healthy smiles at Care Advanced Dentistry; Jessica, one of our amazing Dental Hygienists!

Jessica’s connection to dentistry started early. Her sister has been a dental assistant since Jessica was just three years old, and growing up, she would tag along to work, hang out in an empty operatory, and get an early look at life in the dental world.

Jessica originally studied criminal justice, but when she began questioning whether it was the right path, her sister suggested dental hygiene and it turned out to be the perfect fit!

Before becoming a hygienist, Jessica worked as a pediatric hygiene coordinator and also gained experience in hospitality, catering, communications, and sales; all roles that helped shape the people-first approach she brings to her patients today.

Her favorite part of being a hygienist? Making a difference in people’s lives and helping patients understand that a healthy smile is about so much more than teeth. Oral health is an important part of overall health. 🦷💚

Outside of Care, Jessica loves spending time at home with her partner and two pups, reading, nurturing her plants, and hanging out with friends and family. 🐾🪴📚

Just a quick tip from Dr. Zeidman 🦷😂

Jokes aside… flossing is kind of a big deal.

Your toothbrush simply can’t reach everywhere. Flossing helps clean between the teeth and along the gumline where plaque and food love to hide.
