We see this situation far too often—and we agree with this message.

Dental “insurance” can be misleading, with coverage that often falls short of what patients actually need. Too many people end up delaying or declining treatment because of limitations, not because it isn’t necessary.

We recently had a patient come in with a severely broken front tooth—nearly gone. She works face-to-face with people every day, where her smile is part of how she connects and makes others feel comfortable. Despite the urgency and impact on her daily life, her insurance denied same-day treatment, stating there was no “medical necessity” for immediate care.

Situations like this go far beyond cosmetics. A front tooth plays a critical role in eating, speaking, confidence, mental well-being, and can even involve pain or further complications if left untreated. Yet we regularly see patients hesitate or delay necessary care because of limited coverage or financial barriers.

Care decisions shouldn’t be driven by insurance restrictions.

We’re here to do what’s best for our patients—providing honest recommendations and the care you truly need every time you walk through our doors.
