For the past 30 years, Debra has been so much more than an incredible dental assistant, she has been the heart behind countless smiles, a trusted teammate, and a constant source of kindness, laughter, and compassion.
For three decades, she has stood chairside helping care for thousands of patients with a calming presence, a gentle touch, and an unwavering commitment to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. Her dedication to dentistry is evident in every smile sheโs helped create.
But Debraโs impact reaches far beyond the operatory.
She has built lifelong friendships with coworkers, welcomed new team members with open arms, and helped create the family atmosphere that makes our office so special. The relationships sheโs built over the years are a true reflection of the caring, genuine person she is.
For Dr. Huaman and Dr. Mate, Debra has been much more than a dental assistant. She has been a loyal teammate, a trusted friend, and an irreplaceable part of this practice for thirty years. Together theyโve shared countless laughs, busy days, challenges, milestones, and memories that have helped shape our office into what it is today.
We knew a milestone like this deserved a celebration worthy of thirty amazing years!
This week our office was transformed into a sea of flamingos! ๐ฆฉ From the fun displays outside to the decorations and signs throughout the office, there wasnโt a single spot that didnโt celebrate what has truly been 30 Flocking Years of Dentistry! Every flamingo represented the friendships, memories, laughter, and love that Debra has shared with our team and our patients over the last three decades.
And then came the biggest surprise of allโฆ
As a heartfelt thank-you for her incredible loyalty and dedication, Dr. Huaman and Dr. Mate surprised Debra with an unforgettable anniversary giftโa trip back home to Ohio to spend a week making memories with her family, followed by a trip to Texas to watch her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes take on Texas. We know sheโll be cheering loud, wearing her scarlet and gray with pride, and hoping to watch the Buckeyes bring home a big win! ๐โค๏ธ
Debra, thank you for thirty years of caring for our patients, supporting your coworkers, and helping make this practice feel like family. Your loyalty, compassion, work ethic, and friendship have touched more lives than you could ever imagine.
Thirty years is an incredible accomplishment, but the legacy youโve created is even greater.
