Dr. Eddy J Sedeño and Dr. Melissa Alfonso Sedeño will be continuing the legacy that Dr. Ron Taylor and Dr. Roger Taylor established in the area. Dr. Sedeño was born and raised in Miami Lakes, FL. He attended Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School and Monsignor Edward Pace High School. He attended the University of Florida for his Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He continued on at UF for his dental degree, Masters in Dental Sciences, and his orthodontic certificate. He is a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He has particular interests in technology and new techniques including Invisalign, digital scanning, and 3D printing. Dr. Alfonso Sedeño grew up in Miami as well. She attended Miami Sunset Senior High School. She went to the University of Florida for her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and continued on at UF for her dental degree, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also went to UF for her orthodontics residency and Masters in Dental Sciences. Dr. Alfonso is an American Board of Orthodontics board certified orthodontist, an accomplishment only 1 in 3 orthodontists complete.
