This patient lost her lower front tooth and preferred not to have an implant placed. We were able to place a custom Maryland bridge attached to the neighboring teeth. No cutting of her teeth nor any needles were used in this case.

Implant-supported dentures offer a more secure alternative. Small titanium implants are inserted into the jawbone to hold the denture in place, which can be a removable or permanent denture. The additional support and stability prevent the denture from shifting and ensure strong biting power. At the same time, the denture supports the jawbone. While implant-supported dentures do involve a higher initial investment and a surgical procedure, many patients appreciate how closely they function and feel like natural teeth.
